The ConnectX-5 Ethernet Network Interface Card features up to two 10/25GbE ports, 750ns latency, up to 200 million packets per second (Mpps), and supports the Data Plane Development Kit (DPDK). For storage workloads, ConnectX-5 delivers a range of innovative acceleration capabilities, such as signature switching (T10-DIF) in hardware, an embedded PCIe switch, and NVMe over Fabrics target offload. ConnectX-5 adapter cards also bring advanced Open vSwitch offload to telecom and cloud data centers, enabling extremely high packet rates and throughput while reducing CPU resource consumption, thereby improving the efficiency of data center infrastructure.
