The ConnectX-5 Ethernet network interface card features up to two 10/25GbE ports, 750ns latency, up to 200 million packets per second (Mpps), and supports the Data Plane Development Kit (DPDK). For storage workloads, the ConnectX-5 offers a range of innovative acceleration features, including hardware-based signature switching (T10-DIF), an embedded PCIe switch, and NVMe over Fabric target offload. The ConnectX-5 adapter card also delivers advanced Open vSwitch offload for telecom and cloud data centers, enabling extremely high packet rates and throughput while reducing CPU resource consumption, thereby improving the efficiency of data center infrastructure.
