This product is an 800Gb/s OSFP800SR8 optical module designed specifically for 100-meter optical communication applications. The module converts 8 channels of 100Gb/s (PAM4) electrical input data into 8 channels of parallel optical signals, with each channel capable of operating at a speed of 100Gb/s, resulting in an overall data rate of 800Gb/s.

At the receiving end, the module converts 8 channels of 100Gb/s parallel optical signals (with an aggregate data rate of 800Gb/s across all channels) into 8 channels of 100Gb/s (PAM4) electrical output data.

Optical cables with MTP/MPO-16 connectors can be plugged into the OSFP800 SR8 module socket. The host FEC needs to support fiber optic transmission up to 100 meters.
