This product is a 400Gb/s QSFP-DD optical fiber 10km optical module designed for communication applications. The module converts 8 channels of 50Gb/s (PAM4) electrical input data into optical signals of 4 CWDM channels and multiplexes them into a single-channel transmission of 400Gb/s optical fiber. On the receiver side, the module optically demultiplexes the 400Gb/s optical input into 4 CWDM optical signals and converts them into 8 channels of 50Gb/s (PAM4) electrical output data. The central wavelength channels of the 4 CWDM are 1271, 1291, 1311, and 1331nm. The host FEC needs to support optical fiber transmission up to 10 kilometers.
