This product is a 800Gb/s QSFP-DD800 SR8 optical module communication application specially designed for 100m optical fibers. The module converts 8 100Gb/s (PAM4) electrical input channels to transmit data to 8 parallel optical signal channels, with each channel having an aggregated speed of 100Gb/s and a data rate of 800Gb/s. On the receiver side, the module converts 8 parallel optical signals, each at 100Gb/s, converting the aggregated data rate of 800Gb/s into 8 100Gb/s (PAM4) electrical channel output data. Fiber optic cables with MTP/MPO-16 connectors can be plugged into the QSFP-DD800 SR8 module socket. The host FEC needs to support fiber optic transmission up to 100 meters.
