MTP® backbone patch cords are equipped with a more robust double-layer jacket, delivering superior compression resistance.They are commonly used for long-distance connections between racks or for interconnections between different areas within a building.As a cost-effective alternative, MTP® fiber patch cords eliminate time-consuming on-site termination, making them ideal for high-density fiber cabling in data centers with limited space and stringent cable management requirements.
MTP-8 is optimized for connections from 40G QSFP+ SR4 to 10G SFP+ SR, 100G QSFP28 SR4 to 25G SFP-25G-SR-S optical modules, as well as for high-density data center applications.
