MTP® breakout patch cords, when used with backbone patch cords, enable seamless migration of multimode data center systems to higher data transmission rates. Primarily designed for intra-cabinet connections, these fiber patch cords serve as a cost-effective alternative that eliminates time-consuming on-site termination. They are ideal for high-density fiber cabling in data centers with limited space and strict cable management requirements.
The MTP®-8 patch cords are optimized for 40G QSFP+ SR4 to 10G SFP+ SR and 100G QSFP SR4 to 25G SFP-25G-SR-S transceiver connections, as well as high-density data center applications.
