LC/UPC - LC/UPC Duplex Multimode OM5 Wideband Fiber Optic Jumper - 2.0mm PVC
OM5 multimode wideband bend - insensitive fiber optic jumper is optimized for multi - wavelength transmission systems operating in the 850 - 950nm range. It can provide ideal support for emerging short - wavelength division multiplexing (SWDM) applications, reducing the number of parallel fibers by at least a quarter. This allows for the continuous use of only two fibers (instead of eight) to transmit 40 Gb/s and 100 Gb/s, and reduces the number of fibers to achieve higher speeds.
OM5 meets the requirements of TIA - 492AAAE and IEC 60793 - 2 - 10 A1a.4, and is fully backward - compatible with existing OM4 networks and applications. It complies with the RoHS standard, and the fiber optic jumper has undergone insertion loss optical testing to ensure high quality.
