The 12 - fiber pigtail is suitable for fusion - splicing fiber connections required in structured cabling systems, including data centers, broadband cable TV, passive optical networks (PON), wavelength division multiplexing (WDM or DWDM), fiber - to - the - home (FTTH), as well as voice services in ATM and SONET metropolitan area networks and access networks.

The OS2 bend - insensitive fiber pigtail has lower attenuation than traditional fiber pigtails when bent or twisted, thus making its installation and maintenance more efficient.
