This NVIDIA/Mellanox InfiniBand MMS4X00-NS compatible OSFP transceiver is an InfiniBand 800Gb/s
2x400Gb/s dual-port OSFP, a DR8L parallel 8-channel optical module. It uses 2 fibers and 4‑channel
MPO‑12/APC optical connectors, each supporting a data rate of 400Gb/s. The parallel short‑reach
8‑channel (DR8L) design adopts 100G‑PAM4 modulation, with a maximum transmission distance of
100m over 8 multimode fibers. It is designed for InfiniBand NDR end‑to‑end systems. It is an ideal solution for supercomputing, enabling seamless integration into compute and storage
infrastructures to ensure efficient high‑performance interconnection. It is intended for Quantum‑2
liquid‑cooled switches.
