This NVIDIA/Mellanox MMA1Z00-NS400 compatible QSFP112 NDR InfiniBand transceiver is a

400Gb/s single-port QSFP112 SR4 parallel optical module, equipped with a single 4‑channel

MPO‑12/APC connector. Featuring a short‑reach 4‑channel (SR4) design with 100G‑PAM4

modulation, it supports transmission distances of up to 50m over OM4 multimode fiber. The

module is used to connect ConnectX‑7/QSFP112 network adapters and 2×400G InfiniBand

switches with dual‑port optical modules. When connected to a 1:2 breakout cable, only 2 channels are active on the split end, activating

just 2 out of the 4 channels in the 400G transceiver. This automatically configures a 200G data

rate and reduces power consumption. It is an ideal solution for supercomputing, designed for InfiniBand NDR end‑to‑end systems,

enabling seamless integration into compute and storage infrastructures to ensure efficient,

high‑performance interconnection.
