This NVIDIA/Mellanox compatible QSFP112 NDR InfiniBand transceiver is a 400Gb/s single-port
QSFP112 DR4 single-mode parallel optical module equipped with a single 4-channel MPO-12/APC
connector. Featuring a short-reach 4-channel (DR4) design with 100G-PAM4 modulation, it supports
transmission distances of up to 500m over OS2 single-mode fiber. The module is used to connect
ConnectX-7/QSFP112 network adapters and 2×400G InfiniBand switches with dual-port optical
modules. When connected to a 1:2 breakout cable, only 2 channels are active on the split end, activating
just 2 out of the 4 channels in the 400G transceiver. This automatically configures a 200G data
rate and reduces power consumption. It is an ideal solution for supercomputing, designed for InfiniBand NDR end-to-end systems,
enabling seamless integration into compute and storage infrastructures to ensure efficient,
high-performance interconnection.
