This NVIDIA/Mellanox InfiniBand cable is a high-speed cable with 2x400Gb/s dual-port OSFP to
2x400Gb/s dual-port OSFP. It adopts an 8-channel small form-factor pluggable (OSFP) interface and
contains 8 pairs of high-speed copper twisted pairs, each supporting data rates up to 100Gb/s.
The cable complies with OSFP MSA and IEEE 802.3ck standards. Featuring low latency, this high-speed cable is widely deployed in data centers for short-distance
connections between servers, GPU computing systems, switches, and spine-super spine switches
within racks. It is also used to build InfiniBand storage architectures with hard disk drive (HDD)
and flash memory subsystems. With a simplified design and fewer components, the cable delivers cost-effective, low-latency,
and near-zero power consumption high-speed connectivity. It improves port bandwidth, density,
and configurability in supercomputers and large-scale systems while reducing power requirements.
