This NVIDIA/Mellanox InfiniBand cable is a 2x400Gb/s dual-port OSFP to 2x400Gb/s dual-port
OSFP high-speed cable. It features an 8-channel small form-factor pluggable interface with 8 pairs
of high-speed electrical twisted pairs, each supporting data rates up to 100Gb/s. The cable complies
with OSFP MSA, IEEE 802.3ck and CMIS Rev5.0 standards. Featuring low latency, this high-speed cable is widely used in data centers for short-distance
connections between servers, GPU computing systems, switches, and spine-super spine switches
within racks. It is also deployed in building InfiniBand storage architectures with hard disk drive
(HDD) and flash memory subsystems. With a simple design and fewer components, the cable delivers cost-effective, low-latency, near-zero
power consumption high-speed connectivity. It enhances port bandwidth, density and configurability
in supercomputers and large-scale systems while reducing power requirements.
