This NVIDIA/Mellanox NDR InfiniBand cable is an 800Gb/s dual-port OSFP to 4×200Gb/s dual-port
OSFP quad-breakout high-speed cable. The 8-lane dual-port OSFP end is equipped with a top
heatsink and is designed for Quantum-2 switches. The four 200G ports support 2-lane 100G-PAM4
(200G) and feature a flat-top OSFP package, suitable for ConnectX-7 network adapters and
heatsink-equipped BlueField-2/3 modules in connector racks. This cable complies with OSFP MSA
and IEEE 802.3ck standards. Featuring low latency, this high-speed cable is widely deployed in data centers for short-range
connections between servers, GPU computing systems, switches, and spine-super spine switches
within racks. It is also used to build InfiniBand storage architectures with hard disk drive (HDD)
and flash memory subsystems. With a simple design and fewer components, this cable delivers cost-effective, low-latency, and
near-zero power consumption high-speed connectivity. It enhances port bandwidth, density, and
configurability in supercomputers and large-scale systems while reducing power requirements.
