This NVIDIA/Mellanox-compatible cable is a 2×200Gb/s QSFP56 to 2×200Gb/s QSFP56 HDR InfiniBand
active breakout cable. It utilizes Quad Small Form-factor Pluggable 56 (QSFP56) transceivers and
contains 4 high-speed copper differential pairs, with each pair supporting data rates of up to 50Gb/s.
The cable complies with QSFP56 MSA and IEEE 802.3 standards. The cable delivers higher port bandwidth, density, and configurability for data centers, while offering
lower cost and power consumption, making it widely deployed in cloud computing and
supercomputing applications. In addition, it is extensively used to connect NVIDIA GPU-based systems
to InfiniBand networks and InfiniBand storage networks. Compared with optical transceivers, the cable provides cost-effective advantages of lower cost and
high reliability. Relative to high-speed cables (HSC), it is lighter and more flexible, enabling improved
airflow support and longer transmission distances.
